NICKI MINAJ AVAA MAVAZI YA NUSU UCHI YAKIONYESHA SEHEMU ZAKE ZA SIRI

Nicki Minaj amealikwa kwenda kuzungumza na wanafunzi wa shule ya jijini New York baada ya ombi lake la kutembelea shule aliyosomea kukataliwa wiki iliyopita.

Hivi karibuni rapper huyo alizungumza na uongozi wa shule ya Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School na kuuomba aitembelee kama na kuzungumza na wanafunzi lakini uongozi ulimtosa. Kwenye ujumbe wa Twitter, Nicki aliandika:

 

 “I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined. No need for me to inspire them, I guess. Smh (shake my head)”.

 

Aliongeza, “That school changed my life and I wanted to pay it forward to the students there now. I was really looking forward to it.”

 

Mwakilishi wa shule hiyo pamoja na mkuu wake Dr. Lisa Mars amedai kuwa walimkatalia Nicki kwakuwa alitaka kwenda na crew ya kumshoot wakati wa ziara hiyo, kitu ambacho ni kinyume cha sera za za idara ya elimu ya New York.

 

Kukataliwa na shule hiyo kumeifavya shule nyingine iitwayo Hempstead School District kumtafuta Nicki Minaj na kumwalika aende katika shule yao.

 

“Hempstead School District, which has had some recent hardships, feels it (a visit by Minaj) would be a boost to their students… We have several challenges and I want our children to believe and to feel that they have a chance,” alisema rais wa bodi ya shule hiyo, Lamont Johnson

 

“I think she’s a person that’s shown that she didn’t forget where she’s from and I think Hempstead schools are similar to the area that she came from.”
